From the supplier: Frozen meals maker Primel attributes part of its success to the technical expertise lent by Air Products PLC. Primel uses two liquid nitrogen freezers from Air Products to make its very popular sauce-coated meals. The freezers save time and money because the frozen meals can be mixed and coated simultaneously. Production at its Brittany plant rose from 6,000 to 8,000 tons since the equipment were installed in 1997. Sauce-coated meals are the latest craze in ready-to-eat meals in Europe and have already accounted for 10%-20% of sales in the convenience meal market.
