Product Description Meet Tali, Schuyler, and Kim. Best friends since college, each twenty-something (okay, almost thirty) has seen her share of career foils and romantic foibles in the world's greatest city, New York. Having been friends for more than a decade, they know that they all need a change. On Valentine's Day, they are each alone for one reason or another. At dinner together, the trio makes a pact. Within one year, each woman will change the thing that most challenges her. For Tali, good Tali, whose boyfriend of five years just left her for a personal trainer, it will be to find romance -- or a fling -- in every foreign country she visits (and given her job as a secret shopper for high-end resorts, she goes to a lot of foreign countries). For Schuyler, a book editor, her goal is to get on the other side of the typewriter and write her own book -- much to the dismay of her boyfriend, who is a Very Public Figure. And for commitment-phobic, Daddy's little rich-girl, Kim (she can't hold a job, or a boyfriend, unless he's married and therefore erratic and unattainable) , her goal is to have an engagement ring and a house in Scarsdale. Each woman starts the first day of the year of reckoning with the best of intentions -- which is exactly why the pact goes immediately, and exceptionally, awry. Filled with the delicious insider details (of a celebrity-level (or celebrity-wannabe) lifestyle), Chasing Harry Winston brings listeners once again into the heart of an elite world, where friendships will be tested to the point of breaking. Let the games begin.

This book was adorable!! December 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I can't believe all the bad reviews as well...this was a great read, I liked it even better than Devil Wears Prada. I think all the negative reviews are unjust, it was a cute, funny book, and I didn't think it was boring at all. I wouldn't have read/bought this book based on all the bad reviews but my friend (thanks JB!) gave it to me and recommended it. I'm glad she did!
Great summer read! May 28, 2008 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
Chasing Harry Winston has everything a girl could ask for in a book. Break ups, sexy flings, globetrotting, pain-in-the-butt mothers--every woman will relate to, or wish she was one of the three main characters in this book. Despite their fabulous New York City careers and connections, these girls aren't perfect--Leigh is completely neurotic, Adriana is a total commitmentphone and Emmy is stuck in a crippling slump. They all need and rely on each other to get through the tough stuff. This is a refreshing story about great frienships, set in the greatest city in the world. It's fun, witty and perfect for the beach.
Great chick book! Something every women can relate too! August 6, 2008 I am not much of a reader but i bought this book because i was driving with my husband from texas to california and i needed some entertainment. I finished this book in 2 days and i could not bring myself to tear myself away. This book also includes some amazing sex scenes. Lauren Weinberger is an amazing author! I can't wait for her next book.
Chasing Harry Winston dazzles! September 21, 2008 This was absolutely the best end of summer read! It was light, fun and amusing, not to mention easy to read -- I read it in one day! I've given this title five stars because it did what Ms. Weisberger intended -- it entertained and I felt as if I got what I paid for.
You will love this book if you love chick lit! October 26, 2008 If you love chick lit and have loved all of Lauren Weisberger's books, you will definitely love this book! Although many people didn't rate this book that high, I thought it was great. You can't read it expecting something profound, however it is certainly entertaining!
