Super warm, but sheds a little November 29, 2007

Here in Chicago, this purchase was primarily for function, over fashion. Bought it for my husband who has a shaved head & needs something warm for the winter months. He raves that it's the warmest hat he's ever had.
The inside of the hat does not have rabbit fur all over, but is the same lining as the outside & is stuffed with down. The rabbit fur that is on the frame of the hat is VERY soft, but the only downside is that it sheds a little. Hopefully it'll stop shedding after a while.
If you don't want the ear/chin coverage all the time, you can easily clip the side flaps over your head.

Haha love the name of that hat, super soft inside and well made. That what I expected from Columbia. Great hat, looks great on too!

The rabbit fur in this hat is sooooo soft. I ordered size small for my 20 yr. old son and it fits snug but keeps him warmer that way. Maybe order a medium if you want it a little roomier. Really a nice hat!

my brother has a very small head. He wanted a state trooper type hat and after we had purchased one it covered his eyes so we gave it away. Once again I was on the 'net trying to find him another one and chanced upon this one. It was going to be a christmas gift but when the snows came, I gave it to him. It fits, it keeps him warm and a few of his friends have asked him where he got it so they can buy one too.

Purchased for my hubby, and he loves his new Rabbit hat from Columbia. Durable and a perfect fit (Large).
